Hello again. I will tell you that we did in August 2008. I say "we did", because this is my daughter Julia and a domestic accident at that time that affected our entire family.
was a Saturday night, the eve of the celebration of the "Children's Day" in Argentina. We enjoyed a visit from a friend who came with her two daughters, in turn friends of my oldest daughter (8 years, at the time). While the adults talked, the children played with their natural joy, elated by the prospect of holding the next day. In this climate, my daughter climbed a chair and began to dance up there, ending their "choreography" with jumped to the floor. In the fall he lost his balance and leaned his left wrist in defense reflex.
immediately began to mourn with great intensity, so our friend, my wife and I got up at once to see what happened and which of the children was affected.
When she was my daughter approached me and asked what had happened. After explaining and reviewing sore wrist, I noticed that he had no deformity (sign of possible fracture), or immediate swelling (typical of sprains and similar injuries). I suggested that we did EFT to see if your pain. My daughter knows and practice the technique, so known about its effects. He agreed and after a couple of rounds with very simple and direct sentences about what he felt, the pain subsided a lot. He calmed down and wanted to lie down for a moment to rest. Everything seemed back to normal, so the adults return to our conversation.
few minutes later we heard again the cry of my daughter. I went to her room and told me he had begun to ache again, more than before. The aspect of his wrist was normal, but his pain was intense. I went back to examine it and found a very painful that made me suspect that there was something else.
my wife decided to find a place where they could perform a radiograph to us out of doubt. Our friend offered to stay home until we returned, caring for our youngest son (Thanks, Laura!).
After a few laps, we got to make him radiography in the public hospital in our town and warned the image is a crack at the end of the radius (a forearm bone) just above the wrist.
With the plate in hand, were derived in a hospital trauma more complex. My daughter kept quiet all the time and when the orthopedist examined her after seeing the board, it was hard to find the pain point, besides being quite surprised by the lack of inflammation. "Sure, you have already had some pain, right?" Said my colleague. I was about to tell him what we had done, but it was late and we were tired, so I said yes. My daughter gave me a knowing look and both smiled. They put the cast without feeling any discomfort and at a later time we were back at home.
always think that our body has an intrinsic wisdom that is always acting in relation to what happens to us, and although my daughter's pain initially subsided, the reappearance of it was a clear indication that there was something deeper, what had to be addressed.
I think it's a pattern very important to consider when faced discomfort or pain of any kind that are resistant relief. Beyond looking for all aspects and specific details that can help to implement EFT effectively, we must also consider that sometimes, you have to ruled out that the source of the problem has to do with an organic disorder that needs professional attention .
During the month that my daughter had the cast did EFT regularly to encourage rapid healing, complete and painless. And that's what happened.
See you soon.
