The Feve Board of Directors at its meeting on Thursday 28 April, has agreed to award the project to build the third installment of the new railway to Ceasa -Ence from the UTE VIALOBRA Navia, SL - ANCHELERGUES EA, for an amount of 2,994,727.29 euros (VAT included). The period of execution of the work is 4 months from the beginning of them.

awarded works is the construction of the third tranche of the new rail access to the factory in Ceasa-Ence Navia, who completed a total of one-way path in metric with width a length of 2,482 meters, a maximum slope of 2 mils, and a minimum radius of 100 meters. The action will mean that within the factory will enable a four-way beach with a working length of 300 parking meters and two-way "handle" of 82 and 126 meters respectively arranged at the far end and intended for cargo of timber. Finally, two-way enabled more than 200 meters above molehill located opposite the inlet header, which will allow maneuvering in the section of material.

This award is the third of the proposed rail link between the factory and line Ence to Feve output the traffic moving along the Cantabrian coast, and especially those movements of goods and products from the ENCE mill to move through the Port of Musel. With this award again in time to meet the commitment made in the collaboration agreement signed in early March 2010 between the railroad company, the Principality of Asturias and Ence, who gave the final green light to carry out the necessary actions to allow connecting the factory and the company trades with the port Ence Musel through a new rail line owned by the Principality of Asturias that builds Feve and enable the connection plant with the line of Ferrol-Gijón of the rail as it passes through Navia. With this project, Feve, through its Commodity Business Unit, continues to meet the objectives set in its Strategic Plan for the diversification and increased freight rail track metrics in line with the objectives of PEIT and policies of the Ministry of Development.
