A Euromed train from Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona left bound for hours trapped more than 600 passengers, many Barcelona fans returning home after the Cup final on Wednesday because of a fault near the train station Ulldecona (Tarragona). Passengers, who Renfe return the full amount of the ticket, were transferred to Barcelona by coach.
As reported some of those affected, were standing about three hours and no light inside the carriages. One of the most striking cases it starred a family of five members, who wanted to leave on a cruise from the capital Catalan and following the Euromed incident came too late. The cost of five tickets exceeded 5,000 euros.
